I began my career writing software, and most of my working life since has been spent on a single question: how do you build technology that delivers on its promise — not only in a demonstration, but in the day-to-day reality of running a business?
Permus is how I answer that question today. We are an AI-native software house, and we build and own our products rather than reselling someone else's. Each is built for a problem that genuinely matters to the businesses and institutions of this region: keeping facilities running, defending against cyber threats, and giving organizations a sovereign home for their data. We do not treat artificial intelligence as a label to add. We treat it as how good software should now be built and run.
We also hold ourselves to standards we can prove rather than simply claim — certified to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001, with ISO/IEC 42001 for AI management underway and SOC 2 and further cybersecurity certifications to follow. We are a company rooted in the UAE with an ambition well beyond it. I have never accepted the idea that world-class software has to be built elsewhere and brought in, and we are now extending across the Gulf and into Asia-Pacific, Singapore, and the United Kingdom to prove the point.
